WORLD TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
BROADLANDS, ROMSEY, HAMPSHIRE
21st - 22nd - 23rd August 2009
The World Team Championships will be held at Broadlands in 2009, some of you may have attended the European Championships there. The venue is superb and once again, we will be running the competition in association with Living Heritage. This means there will be public there so we want to put on a slick, entertaining event.
We will need help, initially we just want you to let us know if you can help in any capacity. I have listed the jobs and if you can help we would be very grateful.
Set Up crew to help mark the parking, sort out electricity, check equipment, mark out rings, supervise siting of toilets, showers etc. and generally do anything that is necessary for the set up of the competition. You will be needed from Tuesday 18th August
Team Hosts will be asked to arrive on Tuesday 18th August and the Teams will start to arrive on Wednesday morning. Each Host will be issued with information about the venue, local facilities and will generally 'meet and greet' the competitors and sort out any minor problems.
We provide all the Arena Party- so we need 14 people to do equipment. They will have to arrive on Thursday 20th August. We plan to run a training session so that everyone knows what to do.
We need, judges, scorers, writers - they will have to be available from the 1st session on Friday
We need someone (or two!) to do the merchandising. You would just have to be there for the days of the competition
!
It is NOT going to be all hard work with no rewards though
