England will be competing at this prestigious competition in Kentucky next October.

England MGA have been successful in securing a place to compete at the World Equestrian Games.  Other teams taking part are Australia, Canada, France, Germany, USA and Wales.

Call to all England riders and trainers.

 

We have been invited to send an England open team to the World Equestrian Games competition in Lexington, Kentucky from October 2nd 2010 to October 10th 2010.

 

We are looking for a trainer and six riders to represent England at this prestigious competition. The competition is for one hour a day for eight days.

 

There will be an entry fee of $2,000 per team to offset part of the costs of pony transport, stabling, bedding, feed, and a booth at the World Equestrian games. This covers only a small portion of the cost of the event. There may be two days of practice prior to the competition, this will be confirmed at a later date and may incur an extra charge. Six riders per team will be permitted to ride, but not on the same day and only five ponies will be provided. There will be a daily admission fee charged by WEG for the 6th rider. USA MGA has located a hotel 1 hour from the Kentucky Horse Park with a reasonable rate. This is unusual since most hotels have tripled their rates for this event. Riders will be responsible for hotels, flights, transport and meals.

The USA will notify teams of their inclusion at the games by January 20, 2010 and a deposit of $1,000 will be due by no later than Feb.1. Failure to pay by this date will result in the next team being offered the place.
