TEAM SELECTIONS 2008

 

This year there will be the 6 England Teams

 World Team Championships - Australia

European Championships  - Minis - Junior - Open

 Shrewsbury Invitation International Friendly

Royal Welsh Show International Friendly

The Selectors will be at the following shows

Spring Championships

 England Fund Raiser Show ( 26th/27th April)

 Nominated riders are expected to attend these shows.

Some selectors will also be at Middlesex Pairs/Thame and Knebworth

 All riders will be expected to wear armbands. If you do not selectors will not watch you!. Armbands will be available in the collecting ring before each heat. Please return them at the end of each heat so they are available for the next riders.

 

At the Final Selection meeting at The England Fundraiser Show all selectors will have a number of votes (probably 10) and will vote for their top riders - 10 votes for their top rider.

ANY SELECTOR WHO IS A PARENT OF A NOMINATED RIDER WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN CHILD. AN AVERAGE OF THE OTHER SELECTORS VOTES FOR THIS RIDER WILL BE TAKEN AND ADDED ON TO THEIR SCORE.. The Team Trainers will also be involved in the final selection of his/her Team but will not have a vote

The Teams will be posted on the 'butty bus' and in the bar on Saturday night at The England Fundraising Show......
